Global trends oftentimes transpire to the United States inspiring new ways of thinking and incorporating other traditions.  

Streaming dominance is very sufficient in global media. With rise of platforms like Disney+, Amazon Prime, and Hulu, traditional media such as cable has been ignored. Subscription based models and on-demand content are the future of entertainment, leading to massive investments in original content. This trend is not just global nut continues to rise in the U.S. with localized content including international films and series, also gaining popularity.

Interactive content and gaming systems, especially through platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and mobile apps, are more popular than ever before. Esports and live streaming content are becoming primary entertainment forms, and virtual reality and AR are emerging technologies in this space. These trends are global and increasingly impacting U.S. entertainment industries. 

K-pop, Afrobeat and other regional genres have expanded in popularity worldwide.
